Metal/Review FREQUENCY OVERLOAD - The Pain Factor

FREQUENCY OVERLOAD got together after Mr. Bush placed an ad on Facebook for musicians looking for a band. Kevin Daily had been jamming with Corey Schaefer (hiding out at Fat Bottom Studio) during COVID. Mr. Bush came down, and then the three put out another ad on the same sight looking for a bassist, which Steve Little answered.

The most current single from Frequency Overload, "The Pain Factor," is a powerful song with a unique, genre-defying metal sound. A band called Frequency Overload dares to return to the roots of metal music, showcasing the unadulterated passion and raw intensity of four guys playing their instruments at a time where artificial beats and computer effects are the norm.

The band's commitment to authenticity and depth in their music is exemplified by the song "The Pain Factor." Rather from latching onto the trend of looping sampled sounds, Frequency Overload opts for a strong and sophisticated sound that transports listeners to an unparalleled aural experience.

"The Pain Factor" explores the intricacies of self-mutilation and has a moving message at its core. The song gives listeners an insight into the thoughts of those who battle this intensely personal and sometimes misinterpreted problem with its intense lyrics and scorching instrumentals. Frequency Overload addresses the suffering and despair head-on with unwavering honesty, bringing attention to a subject that is frequently kept silent.

A lyric video that goes along with the release of "The Pain Factor" enhances the song's emotional effect even further. The film offers a message of optimism and perseverance in the face of hardship, as well as a sobering reminder of the hardships experienced by those who suffer with self-mutilation through arresting graphics and moving imagery.

Ultimately, "The Pain Factor" by Frequency Overload is more than simply a song; it's a strong statement that defies convention in metal music while deftly and sensitively addressing significant subjects. This track, which establishes Frequency Overload as one of the most intriguing and avant-garde bands in the metal industry right now, makes an impact on listeners with its distinct sound and cerebral lyrics.
