Discovering the new music underground around the globe
Country/Review Carolee Rainey - Hard Times in the Heart
Carolee Rainey is a folk rock Americana singer-songwriter who writes with an inimitable spirit of poetry. When life pulls you up and throws you down, you learn to become flexible and fast. Maybe that’s why her lyrics and melodies run with vulnerability and conviction. At a young age, she hitched west and busked in Fisherman’s Wharf by day and played jazz and country bars by night. This was her walk in the storm before landing her first publishing and record deal.

EDM/Review LX8 - Quantum Blue
LX8 is the name used by Henry Chebaane, artist, writer, producer, set designer and filmmaker to collaborate with music artists, vocalists and sound engineers around the world. Since the 1980s he has been a big fan of electronic music in all its variety, so that's his main toolkit but other genres are under development. He thinks that everything that we perceive as our ‘reality’ is made of waves of probability and that is what creates our universe.
Rock/Review Francesco and The Black Swans - You have to hold on
In a time when society reaches its peak of paradoxes. She, perched on her pedestal, finally orders the human carnival and moves behind her deceptive mask like a puppeteer. The group Francesco and The Black Swans, as a simple observer, uses music to tell the story of these different life situations. Their new single "You have to hold on" is the perfect example. Their style? Progressive and psychedelic alternative rock, strong committed lyrics, clips with deep narration that do not leave you indifferent.

Rock/Review Madanes - In Love with Laura Ingraham [what's wrong with me]
Madanes has a unique and melodic musical voice that walks the line between Elton John and Ian Dury, and Frank Zappa. “The fringe of the mainstream.” This is the review that adi likes the most. “It describes me best. Or maybe I’m the mainstream of the fringe,” he jokes.
